Your Data, Your Corner
Privacy Policy for This SlimKing Guide
We collect as little as possible. This policy explains the small amount of data involved when you read this SlimKing guide and the rights you have under UK law.
This privacy policy explains how learntocare.org.uk (the “Site”) handles personal data. The Site is an independent informational guide to SlimKing for UK readers. It is not operated by SlimKing, offers no gambling and holds no player accounts. This policy was last updated on 8 October 2026.
Our approach is simple: we collect as little as possible, and in most cases nothing at all.
1. What we don’t collect
Because the Site is a read-only guide, there is a lot we never touch:
- No accounts. There’s no registration, login or profile on the Site.
- No payments. We take no deposits and store no card or bank details.
- No analytics cookies. We do not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t run analytics scripts such as Google Analytics.
- No newsletter or marketing lists.
- No access to your SlimKing account, documents, balance or betting history.
2. Tools that run in your browser
Two interactive features on the Site work entirely on your own device:
| Feature | Where | What happens to your input |
|---|---|---|
| Ask-a-question box | Support page | Matched against our published answers in your browser; nothing is sent or stored |
| Gambling self-test | Responsible gambling page | Scored in your browser; nothing is sent or stored |
Closing or refreshing the page clears what you entered. We never see it.
3. Server logs kept by our hosting provider
The Site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare, which acts as our hosting and content delivery provider. Like any web server, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time.
- Purpose: delivering the Site, keeping it secure and protecting it from attacks, bots and abuse.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
- Retention: kept for a limited period under Cloudflare’s own retention practices, then deleted or anonymised.
- Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic. It isn’t used for analytics or advertising.
Cloudflare may process data outside the UK; where it does, it relies on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
4. Affiliate redirect (/play)
Buttons to play, register, log in or claim an offer send you through our /play redirect to SlimKing’s official site. When you click one:
- The click passes to a tracking partner so SlimKing can attribute your visit to our Site for commission purposes.
- The tracking partner and SlimKing may set cookies or similar technologies on their side once you arrive.
- Any information you then give SlimKing, such as your name, address or ID documents during registration and KYC, is collected and controlled by SlimKing under its own privacy policy, not ours.
Please read SlimKing’s privacy policy on the official site before you register.
5. Who we share data with
We don’t sell, rent or trade personal data. The only parties that process data in connection with the Site are Cloudflare, for hosting and security as described above, and, once you choose to click an affiliate link, the tracking partner and SlimKing. We may disclose information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from a court or the police.
6. Your rights under UK data protection law
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is used;
- access personal data held about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability, where applicable;
- complain to the regulator.
Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests will concern Cloudflare’s server logs or data held by SlimKing. We’ll help where we can and point you to the right controller where we can’t.
7. Complaints and the ICO
If you have a concern, please contact us first via the support page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
8. Children
The Site is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly process data relating to anyone under 18. Gambling under 18 is illegal in the UK, and SlimKing verifies age and identity before any play.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the Site, our providers or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Significant changes, such as adding any new data processing, will be reflected here before they take effect.
10. Contact
Privacy questions can be raised via our support page. See also our terms and conditions. If gambling is causing you harm, free help is available 24/7 from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
Questions UK players ask
Does learntocare.org.uk store my questions or self-test answers?
+
No. The ask-a-question box on our support page and the gambling self-test on our responsible gambling page both run entirely inside your browser. Your typing and answers are processed on your own device, are not sent to our servers or to SlimKing, and are not stored anywhere. Closing or refreshing the page clears them. That is why the question box can only match our published answers and cannot look up anything about your account.
Does this site use cookies?
+
We don't set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics scripts. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the Site from abuse, which doesn't need consent. If you follow an affiliate link through our /play redirect, the tracking partner and SlimKing may set their own cookies on their side; those are covered by their privacy policies, not ours.
How do I complain about how my data is handled?
+
Please contact us first via our support page so we can try to resolve your concern. If you're not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. For data held by SlimKing, such as your account, documents or transaction history, contact SlimKing directly, because SlimKing is the controller of that information and we have no access to it.
